Farm Tech Planning Project

IntellectAg and Rural Edge have partnered together with support from AgriFutures Australia to create, develop and deliver a series of Farm Tech Planning workshops Australia wide in 2021. We will be reaching a vast array of industries via existing successful grower group networks that focus on productivity improvements. Some of the grower groups include the Canberra Viticulture Association, Griffith and District Citrus Growers Inc, Sunraysia Citrus Growers, Food Futures Company, West Australian Pork Producers Association, Buckleboo Farm Improvement Group, Australian Tea Tree Industry Association and many more.

IntellectAg created a professional development module that increases the digital literacy and skill capacity of farmers to improve decision making on their farms. The training program provides a holistic view from the integration of currently “silo”-ed remote sensing, IOT, agronomic, management and foundational farm data.  Improving digital literacy and the capacity building in digital data analytics will allow farmers to reduce input costs, proactively manage yields, and improve resource use efficiencies.

There is no lack of digital tools available to farmers, irrespective of the farming system. However, the skills to implement the technology and generate insights from data are limited. The project will deliver practical outcomes with immediate benefits, providing the necessary skills and improving the capacity and capability of farmers to identify opportunities, furthermore, create a plan, execute and evaluate a digital plan, that delivers for improved efficiency and productivity. begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
